Windows 7.........Now those of us who bought a new PC in recent months get a free upgrade to Windows 7 from Vista. But I found out today that I have to pay for my free upgrade. Yes you heard me correctly. Microsoft has decided that the average person is too incompotent to install a new OS (and frankly they're right.). But where does that leave those of us that can?
There is no way in hell I'm going to pay Best Guess (aka, Best Buy) $40 and give up my computer for a whole day to do something I can do in less than an hour myself if I could just get the software.
I'm honestly not a big fan of vista, but it looks like I'm going to be stuck with it until I can find the money to buy myself a mac. Yes, a Mac.
.....Wow, that didn't even leave a bad taste in the back of my throat.
As much as I hate Apple and everything they do to get people to want their stuff (ie. Bash the competition rather than show off their own stuff. God, they're worse than Direct TV...), I'm tired of microsoft and the way they do business.
If only linux could run modern software without a ton of glitches...
